Gotta love my cousin! She is a burst of energy, but also knows how to chill. I've learned a lot from her growing up and I am very grateful to have her in my life. She cracks me up and she's so fun and adventurous and as her brother says, she loves sleeping her 48 hours! <3 :D ------------- Como no amar a mi prima! Tyka! She's such an amazing, fun, smart, godly young lady whom I look up to. We met briefly during college at a bible study, and ran into her at a math clinic. Later i found out that we would have a lot of the same classes together up until graduation and have bonded ever since. Griselda, is one of my beautiful friends whom I met in college in our Calculus class. Her gentle spirit and friendly demeanor led me to become great friends with her. Ashley and I grew up in the church, but didn't get closer until our teen years because I was afraid of her as a child because she would bite people. She is very bright, silly, and smart. We work really well together and I admire her for her work ethic and perseverance in everything! I am very grateful for her friendship throughout the years and can't wait to have her by my side on this special time! ------------- Ashley y yo crecimos en la iglesia per nos acercamos mas en nuestra adolescencia, porque de nina yo le tenia miedo porque mordia a otros. This here’s my Guy. The best Dude. My main Man. Ishri and I go way back. We met each other when we were in the fourth grade and our friendship started the same way most friendships start; him being my bully. But, over the years we’ve grown a lot together and no matter how distant we get geographically, we always make time to reunite. He’s been there for me on many occasions and through it all, whatever our differences or preferences or goals in life, we’ve always had a love and respect for each other. I’m proud to call him my friend and am honored that he would be by my side as I enter this new and wonderful stage in my life with the love of my life.

What can I say about this kid that hasn’t already been said about younger brother everywhere? He gets on my nerves. Just kidding but seriously. If anyone deserves the most recognition for putting up with me the most its this little guy. Through all the ups and downs in my life including but not limited to accomplishments, failures, and mood swings (i.e. my emo years), this young brother of mine has been through it all and somehow he still wants to be a part of my life. Well, same here little bro. I love him tons and has been my best unwilling friend in this odd life we’ve both grown up with so far, and hopefully many more.

This here is a man that without a doubt gets into the most debates about life, love, and politics with me. Mizael and I met later in life, but I’m grateful to say that as time went on our acquaintanceship grew into something of a friendship and in turn into something even better, a friendly rivalry. Nobody pushes me quite like this guy and in many good ways. He is a mentor, a role model, and a wise guy. Few people have earned this respect and admiration and I’m grateful to have him in my life and call him my friend.

Omg this guy. Even now as adults I can’t help but reminisce on past years growing up and all the good memories playing outside and just overall having a good time. I still sometimes see him as that young boy full of energy and wonder where the time went. But I know where it went. Over the years I’ve seen this young cousin of mine grow in ways that surprised me. I’ve seen his spiritual growth and all he has accomplished and as his friend and cousin it is inspiring, and it makes me very proud. so yeah, I’d say it was time well spent. And even more so because I can indeed call him a friend and I can count on him in whatever life throws at me and vise-versa.

This cousin of mine has been with me in my life for about as long as I can remember. In fact, I cant think of a time in history where he wasn’t present in my life. Probably because from the very beginning he has been nothing but a constant joy and blessing to be around. My childhood was greatly enhanced by his ever loving and peaceful presence. Of course, thinking back on it this is all a lie. How many sleepless nights and tormented days I suffered at his unrelenting mischief. And yet, how blessed I am now to still have him here in my life. Freddy has been, is, and always will be one of my best friends and hopefully now, maybe I start returning the favor.

This young man may be a brother of the bride, but now I look forward to considering him a member of my family. I’ve known Kelvin for years but due to our age difference I guess we just never really hung out. Since he was my brother’s age, I just considered him another little kid. But just like my brother I grew to appreciate, respect, and eventually even like him. In the last few years we’ve had more opportunities to hang out and I’m really grateful for that. Kelvin is a great guy and I’m really glad he agreed to be one of my groomsmen and for approving of my relationship with Jasmine. I’m looking forward to being a part of his family and he of mine.

This is the other young brother of Jasmine and a good kid. I still remember way back when I first found out he was on the way and then all the excitement of another new baby at the church. Little did I know that about seventeen years later I’d have the privilege of being his mentor. Not that I was any good at it. But who knows maybe he learned a thing or two. After all we were at least able to have a few talks about life and growing up and how maybe he can learn from my mistakes. Either way, I really enjoyed that time with him as a mentor and now, as we’re becoming family, I hope I can continue to be there for this kid just as I’m sure he’d be there for me.
