Imhotep and Jasmine met five years ago at an art show that Jasmine was showcasing in. Imhotep was attending the art show with a mutual friend, when Jasmine caught his eye. After a couple months of playing cat and mouse, Jasmine finally decided to go on a date with Imhotep. He did not know at the time, but a foodie date would be the way to her heart. Throughout the years, they have shared their in interest food, documentaries, comedy, fitness, and love for photography. They say you keep them how you get them, and Imhotep got her again with another foodie date. On February 16, 2023 Imhotep took Jasmine to her favorite taco spot and insisted on going Kelly Drive. After tacos, they went to Kelly Drive when Imhotep said he was giving Jasmine her Valentine’s Day gift. He told her it was an Alice in Wonderland charm, but when she opened the box it was a charm that read, “will you marry me?” Imhotep got on one knee and proposed at Kelly Drive, one of Jasmine’s favorite places in Philly. She was completely surprised and overjoyed by the thoughtfulness of the proposal. Although this is just the start to their fairytale ending, both are prepared to face any adversity that is presented to them. They are completely understanding that highs and lows come with any relationship. Grounded in their love, understanding, and willingness to continue to grow, Jasmine and Imhotep will evolve through it all in unity… One band, one sound… Both look forward to experiencing the world and building a family together.
