It all began seven years ago—two people crossing paths at just the right moment, not knowing they had just met the love of their life. What was supposed to be a girls night out at a club, a simple song request turned into something more with the DJ's assistant...more free drinks! The DJ's assistant was him. He took down my number and we shared a single dance. For the next two years (I know!) we kept in touch. Our conversations were casual, sometimes surface level, but always consistent. He never stopped checking in- whether with a quick hello, a thoughtful message, or even quoting me on my insurance to get me the best rate, like the great salesman he is. Looking back, it was his quiet patience that made a lasting impression. Fast forward to 2018, Valentines Day. He asked me out on our first date, to go and watch 50 Shades of Grey at the movies. What I thought was a sweet outing turned into the beginning of something much more. From that night on, he's been my forever Valentine. From the very beginning, there was something unexplainably special between us-something gentle, magnetic, and full of promise. Over the years, our love has grown stronger through every season. We’ve laughed, traveled, grown, and built a beautiful life together, side by side. We’ve turned ordinary days into meaningful memories, supported each other through challenges, and celebrated countless joys. On September 07, 2024, what was supposed to be a wine tasting day, ended up being the most beautiful, heartfelt and special day in our lives- we got engaged! I often get asked if I knew it was happening, and I must admit my best friend asking me to get my nails done with her gave it away but what I couldn't predict was what was yet to come. As he shared beautiful words of commitment, our family and close friends ran out with tears coming down their face. This was the beginning of a new chapter in our lives, and the day that every little girl dreams about. In 2025, we reached another milestone- we purchased our first home together! It wasn’t just a house; it became a symbol of the future we’re building, one filled with love, intention, and commitment. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we do so knowing that this is just the beginning of a beautiful forever. We’re best friends, soulmates, and each other’s greatest comfort and joy. The kind of love that feels safe and passionate. Just two hearts that are intertwined, choosing each other all over again.
