One day I was scrolling on social media and noticed his comment on a mutual friends page. I initially thought that he was very handsome so I took the initiative to send him a friend request. Once he accepted the request, I very boldly slid in his DM thanking him for accepting my friend request (how lame lol). We talked very briefly and decided to exchange numbers. Next thing I knew he was in Tennessee to visit and the rest was history.

So my former job threw me a going away party and my boss kept mentioning that he had told Elliott about it. However, Elliott kept acting as if he didn't know anything and was at home in bed. My coworker jokingly says "Maybe he's going to surprise you and propose". I'm like girl no we're in no rush and the time will come when it's right. About thirty minutes pass and Elliott shows up at the door and I think nothing of it. So we ate and continued to converse with everyone but as soon as it was time to play games Elliott announces "Wait I have a question for Jasmine". I instantly ask, "What do you have to ask me?" If anyone knows Elliott you just never know whats liable to come out of his mouth lol. He gets down on one knee in front of everyone and pops the question and I said YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Tennessee!
