How and when should I RSVP?
Answer
Please RSVP by Friday 18th November 2022 via the RSVP tab above including what meal you would like and if you have any dietary requirements along with whether you would like a room(s) for the night at the venue.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
If you are staying the night at Tankardstown, please arrive promptly at 3pm to check in and to allow time for key collection / dropping bags off. There will be someone from Tankardstown there to meet you upon arrival to the car park to let you know which direction your accomodation is in. The festivities will start at 3.30pm sharp for all guests!

Will I be guaranteed a room for the night at Tankardstown if I request one and how much will it cost?
Answer
Yes, there is enough on site accommodation for all guests. All rooms are c.£180 based on 2 people sharing and includes breakfast the next morning.

How do I reserve a room for the night at Tankardstown?
Answer
Please just let us know as part of your RSVP and we will allocate a room to you. We will then let you know if / when Tankardstown need you to ring and confirm the room. All rooms have to be booked through the Bride and Groom in the first instance (Tankardstown's policy).

What time is breakfast served?
Answer
Breakfast will be served between 7.30am and 10.30am.

Check out is at 12pm.

Can I check in early or check out late?
Answer
Tankardstown have back to back weddings on the run up to Christmas so guests must not arrive earlier than 3pm to allow the venue time to prepare. The only exception to this rule is the bridal party. Check out is a leisurely 12pm but they will be happy as long as everyone has cleared out of their rooms by then.

What time does the bar close at?

We can't imagine there being anyone left that Corin hasn't enthusiastically communicated to several times that the bar stays open until 4am... for those that can handle it.

What should I wear?

Festive formal / Go all out, it is Christmas after all.

Do you have a gift list?
Answer
Having you join us for the celebration is a gift in itself but a small contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated....if you are insisting.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Yes, Tankardstown will cater to any and all dietary requirements, please let us know if you have any in your RSVP response.

Can I take pictures to post on social media?

Please snap away! In fact, we'd love it if you would share your photos with us the next day but we do ask that NO photo's of the Bride and Groom are posted on social media.... you know what we are like.

Will there be children at the wedding?
Answer
We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free (immediate family excluded), and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!

How long does it take to get to Tankardstown?

Will there be a ceremony at Tankardstown?
Answer
This is a controversial one but we are getting married privately in Belfast in the morning of the 21st. We will be husband and wife by the time we see you all at Tankardstown. No blessing or ceremony equivalent will be happening at Tankardstown so we will be getting straight into the celebrations at 3.30pm.

Will I need lunch before I go?
Answer
We recommend a light lunch only as there will be lots of food throughout the course of the day.

Will Pepper be there?
Answer
As much as we'd love to have Pepper there stealing the spotlight, no dinner would be safe and no dress would remain clean with her on the scene.
