We’re tying the knot on August 30th, 2025! The ceremony kicks off at 2:00 PM, and we’ll keep the celebration going until 7:00 PM with an on-site reception. Everything will be held at the Borden Building & Fred Fletcher Amphitheater in Downtown Raleigh, NC—a beautiful, tucked-away spot we can't wait to share with you.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:15PM to give folks time to settle in without feeling rushed. Please arrive as close to 2:00PM as possible to provide adequate time to park and find seating beforehand.
There will be priority parking for elderly guests near the venue. Everyone else can park conveniently across the street at 805 Washington Street. Please avoid parking in residential lots—we want to be good neighbors!
The dress code is seasonal semi-formal attire. Since it’s summer and most of the celebration will be outdoors, lightweight fabrics and breathable styles are a great choice. Our wedding party will be wearing earth tones, so feel free to join in that palette if you’d like (totally optional!). We kindly ask that you leave jeans, tank tops, and baseball/trucker hats at home. Need some inspo? Here’s a helpful style guide: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal
To stay within our venue’s capacity, we ask that only guests who were given a plus one on their invitation bring a guest. We’re also keeping it mostly adults-only, with the exception of the kids in our wedding party and a few very tiny VIPs (babies under 6 months who have already been included). If your little one isn’t listed on your invite and you'd like to clarify, feel free to reach out!
We’d love for you to be fully present during the ceremony, so we’re asking for no phones or cameras during that part of the day. We’ll have a professional photographer capturing everything, and we promise to share the beautiful shots with you afterward! Snap away during cocktail hour and the reception though!
We’ll be serving picnic style barbecue, cold desserts, and refreshing drinks throughout the afternoon. We do recommend making dinner plans if you’d like something later in the evening. There are several amazing spots in Downtown Raleigh and we are more than happy to send you our recommendations!
We’ve got you! The bride is gluten-free, so we’re making sure there are plenty of gluten-free options. If there is a vegetarian need, please let either the Bride or Groom know. Thanks!
