Rue Sainte-Catherine
Rue Sainte-Catherine is Bordeaux's main pedestrian shopping street, known for being one of the longest in France and stretching 1.2 km through the city center. It features a wide variety of shops, including department stores like Galerie Lafayette, the Galerie Bordelaise, and many other European and international brands. We all know Jas likes to shop till she drops, so if you cant find her, she's probably here.
Cathédrale Saint-André de Bordeaux
Bordeaux Cathedral, officially known as the Primatial Cathedral of St Andrew of Bordeaux, is a Catholic church dedicated to Saint Andrew and located in Bordeaux, France. SAINT EMILION MEDIEVAL HILLTOP TOWN
Take in beautiful views of rolling hills and vineyards, visit the catacombs, impressive cathedral, and stroll the idyllic cobblestone streets of this historic village known for some of the best wines in the world.
LA CITÉ DU VIN WINE MUSEUM
Enjoy this high-tech wine museum on the banks of the Garonne and learn all about the history of French wine in one place, complete with a tasting.
ARCACHON BAY & DUNE DU PILAT
Venture only 1 hour west of Bordeaux and explore this Atlantic bay with authentic towns like L'Herbe, Piraillan or Le Canor. Savor fresh oysters and climb the largest sand dune in Europe, the Dune du Pilat.
COGNAC & BERGERAC
Visit the towns of Cognac (yes, famous for the brandy!) and Bergerac for more French history, architecture, castle tours, and spirits tastings in idyllic settings. Each town is about 1.5 hours from Bordeaux.
