I met Pat around middle school going to high school. Everyone knew who Pat was because he always walked around with his headphones on listening to Lil Wayne no matter where he was lol. Pat is one of the funniest people I have ever met and I am sure probably everybody says that about him. Even though he is always funny, people misread him and forget to realize how intelligent he is. His ability to always be self aware and sticking to what he believes in is my favorite thing about him. Thank you for always being real. Your positive energy about things since the day I met you, has always helped me through the years. Appreciate you always!

I met Danielle (aka Dr. Danielle) about 10 years ago and we have been best friends ever since! From road trips, vacations, impromptu happy hours, worship nights, being pretended bougie sommeliers, to prayer warriors, cheerleaders, sounding board and everything in between! Everyone in their lives needs a Danielle! A friend who will be there for you through your ups and downs, a friend who is honest with you and won’t just tell you what you want to hear, and a friend who truly cheers you on! To Danielle: Danielle I appreciate every laugh shared, every silent look passed between us in a crowded space where we know exactly what eachother is saying without words, and every tear you have wiped. You truly have been such a safe place for me and you are so admired and appreciated!

I am not sure when I met Travis lol, but I do know it was around my freshman or sophomore year of high school. He knows better than I do. However, I do know our friendship began to grow through high school as we both played football and played the same positions. Travis is always in good spirits no matter what is going on. He’s probably the nicest person I know but sometimes too nice lol. After high school is where our friendship grew into a brotherhood. As we grew into men with the natural ups and downs in life, we were able to always be there for each other through our journey. Travis, thank you for always being you. I am not easiest friend to have with my forwardness and bluntness (lol) but you always knew it came from how much I cared. You allowed me to always be me, and that is something that I can't put a value on. Appreciate you always!

I met Shalonta in high school somewhere between 2007/8. I thought she was trying to steal my best friend at the time and as God would have it, we are the ones that became besties! Many of the friendships I have today and the ladies in my “Bride Squad” are spun from friendships that Shalonta introduced me to! Being my oldest friend we have seen each other grow in so many ways! Physically, emotionally, mentally. It’s a beautiful thing to sit with a old friend and recall memories of long ago and that’s apart of our relationship I truly cherish! We argue and bicker like true sisters! Both of us being strong minded and opinionated if you get caught in the crossfire of an debate between us just get low and duck for cover! But the beauty of it is no matter what we disagree about it is done respectfully and with care of the other persons heart! And that speaks to the testament of a true friend. To Shalonta: Shalonta, I thank you for always speaking how you feel. I appreciate how we have grown together through every season of our lives. I value the passion you have towards your beliefs and those you care about! You are like mumbo sauce (LOL), sweet but a little spicy. And like mumbo sauce, you can be put on anything or any situation and it’s gonna slap!! For those who do not know the term “slap” means “it is very good”.
