How We Met
On a Thursday night in September, Amar and Jasmine showed up to the New Jersey Dental Association social in Zepplin Hall, Jersey City, in their black Figs scrubs. Amar, his brother, Rajan, and sister-in-law, Anita, went together, while Jasmine came on her own. Jasmine spotted the dashing Amar from across the room, but she assumed he was not single and preceded to socialize with others.
Jasmine met Rajan and they instantly bonded over his fun fact that the word Malayalam is a palindrome. Slickly, Rajan called for his brother from across the room to meet Jasmine. Amar abruptly exited a conversation about dentures with no goodbye to meet Jasmine with his hand out stretched and his million dollar smile. Jasmine introduced herself and the rest was history.
The best part?
Before parting ways that night, Amar showed Jasmine what he planned to save her phone number as- "my future wife."
They say Jasmine has not stopped blushing ever since.
