Q & A

Question

How long should I plan to be in Thailand?

Answer

Generally, travel to Thailand will take up to 2 days of flying each way. We suggest to block out at least a week (hopefully two) of vacation time to enjoy Thailand for a little of a week of enjoying Thailand to the fullest.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Thailand is a hot and humid climate: November ranges from 70-90 degrees. Plan to wear light linen clothes with a light jacket in case of rain. The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach. Suits are not required, and shorts are definitely acceptable, however, we ask that our guests do not wear denim. Dresses are of course appropriate in any color other than white.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

No gifts are expected, as your presence is the most precious gift that we could receive. If you insist on buying a gift, our registry is open for donations toward our honeymoon or a few things on our wish list.

Question

Where should we spend our stay?

Answer

Most of all flights will land in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, which is about a 2-hour drive to Pattaya, the beach city where the wedding will be held. There is no group hotel rate at this time, however, this may change with need. There are amazing AirBnB’s in Pattaya for around $30 per person per night (or less!). Most of the bridal party will be staying close to Jomtien beach and Walking street. If you choose to stay in another city, like Bangkok, please notify us so we may provide you with transportation to Pattaya on the day of the wedding!
