A Music City Love Story

Jasmine's job moved her from Indiana to Huntsville, AL. She had recently befriended Micah Kennedy at a conference the year prior. When she moved, she didnt know anyone and asked Micah to introduce her to some friends since Nashville wasnt to far away. She moved to Huntsville May of 2019. The following week was Memorial day and she had no plans so Micah invited her to a singing event at a church in Nashville. After the program, a number of people went to McDougal's Chicken and it was there that Micah introduced Jasmine to his "brother" Alden. They immediately hit it off as friends. From there, they ended up singing in a group together. Their friendship blossomed. However Jasmine started developing feelings for Alden, but was completely unsure if he felt the same. But Alden had developed an interest in Jasmine, unbeknownst to her. One day while texting, she advised him that she would be flying out of Nashville the next day to Miami for her birthday. She told him what time the flight was and asked, "Are you gonna take me to breakfast?' To which he replied "No. But we can hang out". She was distraught because her attempt to flirt seemingly failed. But they hung out all day before the flight. Alden showed her every aspect of Nashville in such a short time. He also called her throughout her birthday trip. A little flirting persisted. Upon her return to Nashville, Alden asked Jasmine to meet him at Panera when she Landed. Once at Panera, They chatted and mid-conversation Alden stops and asked her "Do you feel something? Is this a thing?". Shocked, she answered "yes?" and he said "ok" and proceeded with the conversation as normal. The two have been in constant contact from that day forward and They fell in love along the way. Alden proposed on 4/13/23 in Norfolk, VA.
