I'm coming from abroad - Do I need a Visa?

Answer

If you are traveling with a European passport, you'll need an eTA (Electronic Travel authorization). See the application page here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/eta/facts.html. It just takes a few minutes and costs $7 or less than 5 Euros.

Yes, children are welcome to attend. We hope to see your growing families!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are asking exclusively for cash gifts. There will be a card box at the reception to deposit wedding cards. If you you are coming from abroad, your presence is the only gift you need to bring!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is paid parking beside the Celebration Pavilion for the ceremony. There are a limited number of free parking spots at the Diamond Alumni Centre for the reception. However, we encourage guests to take taxis, ubers, or other transportation if they plan on drinking.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress for a party! We'd love to have you come as your are comfortable. Tracht is encouraged! Suits, dresses, suit jacket or blazers, jumpsuits, button-down shirts, skirts and blouses - whatever makes you feel like celebrating!

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Appetizers will be served first at the weissbier welcome (4-5pm), followed by cake & coffee, dinner and late night snack. The bar will be open for beer, wine and highballs throughout the reception.
