Jas - “All was going crazy in the world with this new pandemic called Covid19. Weeks upon weeks of quarantining were in effect, which meant there was no time for anything but reading our bibles and trying new hobbies. This is when online dating became the new trend. Even though this was very new to the both of us, we figured there was no better time to give it a try. Match.com was definitely a popular one. After no luck in finding a potential match, I was about to move on. Come to find out later, PJ was in the same boat. Before closing my account, my mom convinced me to check and go through my messages one last time just in case God had my match hidden in the messages. I scrolled through and boom! A very sweet and non creepy message grabbed my attention. Unfortunate part was, I noticed this message 2 weeks later. For all I knew, he moved on and found his match. I decided to reply anyway and found out I was wrong. He replied almost instantly! From that exact moment, we never stopped talking. Not to sound cheesy, we knew right away, we were going to end up together. We knew this was God’s doing!”

PJ - “From the moment I first talked to Jasmin, I knew that she was the one for me. Obviously I wanted to wait awhile before making it official, but I knew right away, she was going to be my person. After about a year and a half of being in a relationship together, I knew the time had come. I asked her mother, Carmen, for her blessing while at Disney on Ice. I got it! Next step…I got the ring. After that, it was months of planning and preparation. The tricky part was having to secretly text Carmen without Jas suspecting anything. We were planning every detail and making sure all preparations were finalized with my proposal location. What was my proposal location? Universal Orlando. I always knew this would be the perfect proposal location for many reasons. Not only is it one of Jasmin’s favorite places, it’s where her mom and biological dad first met! I remembered her telling me the game section of Universal Orlando is where her parents met. This was definitely going to be our spot. After countless phonecalls with Universal, all was ready! Thank God, we were able to do it all without Jasmin suspecting anything which was not easy. After all the hard work of making sure this would be perfect for Jas, our perfect date came. November 14, 2021 arrived! It was time to finally get down on one knee and ask one of the biggest blessings God has given me, to marry me! The months of planning were worth it and I am now blessed enough to call Jasmin my fiancé and can't wait to make her my wife!”
