Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For our men, we ask that you wear tailored suits with ties, solid-colored shirts, and dress shoes. We invite all guests to dress elegantly for the occasion—suits, floor-length dresses, and formal evening wear are all wonderful choices.

Question

Are children invited to the reception and ceremony?

Answer

We're so glad you asked! We've decided to keep our ceremony and reception as an adults-only celebration to maintain the intimate atmosphere we're envisioning.

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM at Capilla de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Ohio S/N, El Rosedal, Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, CDMX, México. The reception will follow immediately afterward at Casa Xipe, located just a few minutes away on foot.

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, we'd love for our ceremony to be phone and camera-free. Our professional photographer will capture all the special moments, and we're hoping everyone can be fully present to celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We're keeping our celebration intimate, so we're only able to welcome the guests listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Will the wedding be in Spanish or English?

Answer

Our ceremony will be conducted primarily in Spanish, honoring both Catholic tradition and local custom. The reception will be bilingual, ensuring all our guests can fully enjoy and celebrate with us.

Question

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The reception venue, Casa Xipe, is located just a few minutes from the church in Coyoacán. Additional transportation details will be available on the website.

Question

What is the weather like in Mexico City?

Answer

Mexico City enjoys mild temperatures throughout the year, though evenings can turn pleasantly cool. We recommend packing a light jacket or shawl to stay comfortable. Think of it as similar to an Orlando winter day.
