Please RSVP by July 30, 2025. Responding earlier is helpful to our planning!
Because most of our guests are out-of-state, we intentionally chose a wedding venue location that would be convenient for those traveling. The Washington Duke Inn (reception location) has room accommodations and a few restaurants on-site for you to enjoy. You can check out the WDI website to book restaurant reservations or even book a golf session over the weekend. Don't forget to use our discount code when booking your room accommodations. https://bookings.travelclick.com/11999?domain=www.google.com&groupID=4655568#/guestsandrooms Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you do not see any more rooms in our block available; we will be happy to help with arrangements. Of note, the hotel is pet-friendly, and you can visit the website for more information on special accommodations. We would love to treat you to breakfast over the weekend, and more details on this will be shared upon your arrival.
Our dress code is Western Formal or Indian formal. Jasmin would be happy to send links to her favorite online stores if you would like to wear formal indian attire (though not required)!
Yes, there is free parking at the ceremony and reception location.
We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with our closest friends and family! If your invitation includes a plus one or children, they are warmly invited.
Late August in Durham is typically warm and humid, with average high temperatures around 83–90°F. August is one of the wetter months, so occasional showers or thunderstorms are possible. Humidity is relatively high but slightly lower than July. Travel tips: Dress in lightweight, breathable fabrics suitable for warm weather. Consider bringing rain gear just in case. All our wedding activities will be indoors. Rain or shine, we cannot wait to celebrate with you!
