Who knew this love story started one night at a college frat party. Andy saw Jasmin at the party and walked up to her and introduced himself. After a night of dancing, Andy asked Jasmin for her number because he wanted to get to know her better. Andy waited two full days to text Jasmin because he didn't want to come off desperate and weird. Andy shot his shot and the rest was history. Andy surprised Jasmin with the ultimate Christmas present by asking her to be his girlfriend on December 23, 2009.

Andy and Jasmin moved into their first home together in the Summer of June 2016. A few months later in December 2016, they adopted their first fur baby and named her Rockee.

Jasmin had planned a trip to Malibu Wine Safari with her closest friends and family on March 11, 2018. One of Andy's New Years Resolution was to propose to Jasmin after nine years of dating. Andy had decided what better place to propose to Jasmin than on her birthday in front of her friends and family. Andy had originally planned to propose to Jasmin in front of the infamous Stanley the Giraffe. Due to rain in the forecast, Andy wasn't able to stick to the original plan and instead had to come up with Plan B quick. Andy worked effortlessly with the winery to figure out an alternative proposal. The wine tours went on like normal, however, Jasmin didn't know there was one final surprise at the top of the mountain. With the help of Jasmin's closest friends, they blindfolded Jasmin and walked Jasmin to the end of the trail where Andy was waiting patiently to bend the knee and ask Jasmin to marry him.
