We’re getting married!!

Andres and I met in high school. We were friends for a long time and actually went to prom together. After we graduated he went off to San Diego to play football and I went off to the military. After about 3 1/2 years we were both living back in Tucson and reconnected. In March of 2016 I told him I was moving to Texas. We spent quite a bit of time together as friends even though we both had feelings for each other but didn’t want to ruin the friendship. About a week before we were moving we went out to a bar/batting cage with some friends of ours. After everyone left we stayed talking in the parking lot and kissed for the first time that night. June 13, 2016 we became a couple and June 14, 2016 is when I moved to Texas. We spent 8 months apart at the start of our relationship before he moved to Texas surprising me on Valentine’s Day of 2017. In 2018 we got our first apartment together, then moved again in 2020. On October 3rd we boarded a cruise for the Bahamas. October 5th 2022 while on a secluded part of the beach of an island we docked at is when he popped the question. It was perfect and I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
