We’re getting Married

We first met when Jazz was in Hartford, CT for her first rotation during her 4th year of optometry school. Mark was finishing up his Computer Science degree while also doing an internship at The Hartford. Jazz was new to the area and needed someone to show her around. We met on OkCupid and had our first date in West Hartford Center. To say the least it was the best first date filled with Ice cream and pizza (our favourite food). Not to mention watching the Toronto Raptors basketball game 6 at McLadden’s (which they ended up winning the championship that year for the first time ... it was a sign ;P ). During Jazz’s rotation she was constantly moving every 3 months from CT to NY, to PA to NH to Canada and then finally back to CT. We made it through together exploring together and finally moved in together into a beautiful apartment in Taftville, CT June of 2020 . Fast forward to today we are still together and are still moving/traveling. Our first vacation was in St. Lucia in October 2021 at an all inclusive resort. We loved it so much that we decided to have our wedding at an all inclusive restaurant as one big wedding/ vacation. We finally found a dog friendly apartment in Manchester and were able to get the lap dog of our dreams. We added a fur baby to our family, Coco the Cavapoo. She has been our best friend and cuddle buddy since May 2022 and has filled our life with joy and love. When we felt we were ready we made plans for a European excursion to England and Paris. Jazz had always wanted to visit Paris and knew it was a special place that would last in our hearts. We knew the city of Love was the place to finally get engaged so Mark bought a beautiful ring hand picked by Jazz and proposed in Trocadero overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The city of love was a magical place and left such an impression on us that we swore we wanted to retire there in the future. And are currently living their best happily ever after
