We met at Razzles a long time ago in which Tony said aloud that I was the girl he was going to marry one day! I was in a volleyball tournament when I met him wearing red, white, and blue shorts for 4th of July, in which Tony kept calling me Miss America as I laughed it off. Fast forward a couple years, we ran into each other at a concert in Lorain, at Black River Landing, in which we exchanged phone numbers. At that moment, I had a feeling of butterflies and knew it was something I needed to pursue.
We decided to meet at Don Tequila’s for our first date. He loves Mexican and I love a good coupon. How ironic, we had both! We laughed and laughed about this coupon, and at that moment I knew I liked him, a little. It was then, in the parking lot he asked if he could kiss me. I gave him some trouble about it being the first date but didn’t turn him down!
We hosted Easter celebration for the second year in a row. We truly enjoyed hosting and this year was even more special because Tony’s family joined in with my family, and we all had a great Easter Brunch. Little did I know, this was planned for a reason. After brunch we went to Edgewater to take family pictures. It was quite windy and cold, but that didn’t stop us, thanks Cleveland weather! We took photos by the Cleveland sign and I really wanted photos by the willow tree and I think Tony knew that. We parked so far away and it was so cold, but my grandparents made the long cold walk to the tree. Tony pretended to want a photo with me and than needed a “redo”. He began to shake, knelt down, and I believe before his knee even hit the grass, I said YES with tears flowing for us both. My dream was to marry the man of my dreams with a beautiful ring and that he had! At that moment, my grandpa said to me, “well finally” with tears in his eyes, tears in everyone’s eyes!
Fast forward to today, and here we are, about to say “I do” in a ceremony that promises to be as entertaining as our journey so far. Join us on June 8, 2024 for a celebration filled with laughter, love, and maybe a few unexpected surprises. As we embark on this next chapter, we invite you to be part of our ongoing comedy act. After all, what’s love without a good laugh?
