Where to Stay

Answer

For our out-of-town guests, the good news is that Portland isn't very big, so there's no need to stay in a specific neighborhood. Feel free to book an Airbnb or hotel anywhere in the city that fits your style and budget. If you would like to stay near our home we are in the Woodstock neighborhood in SE Portland. We've included a few hotel recommendations from the venue on the travel page to help get you started.

When to Arrive at the Venue

Pomarius Nursery is open to the public until 6pm. Guests will not be able to enter the venue before this time. We're hoping to start the ceremony at 6:15 so please plan to arrive as close to 6 as possible! We'll have cold glasses of champagne and sparkling cider waiting for you!

There is free street parking available around the venue. We encourage guests that will be drinking alcohol to use rideshare services if possible. We want you all to make it home safely!

ATTIRE: Semi-Formal

Answer

October weather in the PNW can be a bit unpredictable. It could be warm and sunny, cloudy and cold, or somewhere in between. Our venue is fully covered but we're hoping to have it open air throughout the evening. Roll down plastic curtains and propane heaters will be available if needed to protect us from the elements. That said, we want you to be comfortable, so please keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Feel free to bring a jacket or extra layer just in case! Women: Dresses (any length), dressy jumpsuits, or similar. Men: Jackets and slacks appreciated. Ties optional.
