The Wedding Website of Grace Michel and Jase Lehfeldt
We can’t believe we get to celebrate our wedding with all of you — and in such an incredible place! We know that traveling to Montana is no small feat, and we’re so grateful to everyone considering making the trip. It means the world to us that you’re willing to spend the time, effort, and expense to join us for our wedding weekend. Our celebration will take place on Saturday, July 4th, at Somers Mansion, a beautiful yellow historic estate perched on the shores of Flathead Lake. Somers is about a 20-minute drive from Kalispell and less than an hour from the west entrance of Glacier National Park — one of the most breathtaking corners of the country (trust us, you’ll want to come early or stay a few extra days if you can!).

Flight

Getting to Montana

The closest airport is Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) in Kalispell — just 19 miles from Somers. Some cities and airlines have options that fly into Missoula (MSO) which is approx a 2 hour drive to Somers. And, if you’re up for a scenic road trip, Spokane International (GEG) is about a 4-hour drive away. Flying into Spokane and driving to Glacier is how my family traveled this summer - it really was an easy, scenic drive. Or so I was told since I slept through most of it ;) We recommend starting to look at flights and keep an eye on prices — summer travel to Montana can get pricey. Try searching multiple airport options from your home base to find the best deals and set up alerts or Google flight tracker to see when is the best time to book.

Rental Car

Getting around Montana

All nearby airports offer car rentals, and Turo is also a great option if you’ve never tried it before (think Airbnb for cars). Having your own vehicle will make it easy to explore the area and soak in all the Montana views. Due to the location and variety of accommodations for guests to choose from we are unable to offer shuttle service. However, there is plenty of parking at Somers Mansion for the night of our event and Kalispell does have taxi and ride share options (Uber and Lyft) available.

House Or Rental

Staying in Montana

Accommodations in the Flathead Valley and around Glacier National Park tend to book up quickly during the summer, so we HIGHLY recommend reserving a place to stay soon! We’ll share links to a few local hotels, but we also encourage checking out Airbnb or VRBO — there are so many charming cabins, lake houses, and mountain lodges around Kalispell, Somers, Lakeside, and Bigfork.

Travel Note

Why Montana?

We’ve always loved exploring the outdoors together — hiking, road-tripping, and chasing breathtaking mountain views. Since we started dating in 2021, we’ve visited 15 US National Parks, with a goal of hitting all 63 eventually! Glacier National Park holds a special place on our wish list because of the incredible hiking and wildlife you can experience here. Grace had the opportunity to visit GNP with her family this summer, but Jase had just started med school and was unable to join the trip. So, we decided the perfect way to make up for it was… to get married here! We can’t wait to share this place — and this moment — with all of you. Our hope is that you’ll see why we love it here and maybe even make a little Montana adventure out of the trip.
