We met after a drone and paddle board incident at the lake (Jase flew his drown overhead and Beka thought her board was leaking air). We started talking on Instagram and discovered we both had dogs. Our first in person meeting was August 2022 at the dog park with Tiggy (Jase's Goldendoodle) and Scout (Beka's Newfie/Great Pyr Mix). We hung out a few more times with the dogs, then ice fishing season came. After the ice melted we started hanging out more, and on June 14th 2023 Jase asked Beka to be his girlfriend. During a summer of church, cornhole, fishing, and golf we fell in love. Right before an ice fishing trip with friends on January 12th, 2024 Jase asked Beka to marry him (thanks!). She of course said yes, and now we're preparing for a lifetime together! We're grateful for all of you, God's faithfulness and timing, and Tiggy and Scout!
