COVID-19 UPDATES:

As you can imagine, we are closely monitoring COVID-19 and how it will impact our wedding plans. We don't know what's ahead but please know that no matter what, your health and safetyis our priority. Here is what we do know: The Venetian has implemented multiple safety guidelines: - The venue is cleaned and sanitized each evening and throughout the day. - Mask and hand sanitizer stations are placed throughout the venue. - ALL employees are vaccinated For our wedding: - Servers will wear masks - Both the cocktail room and ballroom doors will be open for easy access to an outdoor patio and parking lot. You are more than welcome to socially distance and wear a mask, if you feel unsettled. Thank you for all the love and support during these unprecedented times. We are so blessed to have you in our lives and cannot be more excited to celebrate with you.

Cold - Let's be honest, this is the North and it's February. Please bring warm clothes!

Where are the ceremony & reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are in 2 different locations. Ceremony: Cathedral Bascilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark Reception: The Venetian in Garfield.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests are free to do what they'd like, until cocktail hour at 6pm.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive at the Bascilica promptly at 2:30pm.

Can I take and post pictures of the ceremony on social media?

Answer

Although we love the idea of having all of you taking beautiful photos or videos of us, our ceremony will be an unplugged event. No photos or videos please.

Can I take and post pictures of the reception on social media?

Answer

Yes, of course! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #jasandlousayido so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
