When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please let us know if you'll be joining us by December 6th, or if you’re unable to attend, so we can finalize the details with our vendors. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held at Hakone Estate and Gardens (21000 Big Basin Wy, Saratoga, CA 95070). The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with the reception hosted in a tented pavilion.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The gardens will be open for you to enjoy starting at 3:00pm. We recommend arriving by 3:40pm at the latest to allow plenty of time to find your seat before the 4:00pm ceremony. If you happen to arrive after the ceremony has begun, our event staff will assist you in finding a seat. However, you may be required to wait briefly until it is appropriate to join without disrupting the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding.

Is parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there is complimentary on-site parking available. Given the size of the guest list, we encourage carpooling when possible to help ensure there’s ample space for everyone.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
In your invitation suite, you’ll find the number of seats we've reserved in your honor. We’re working to keep the celebration as intimate as possible, surrounded by our closest friends and family. If there's anyone important you feel we may have missed, please let us know.

What should I wear?
Answer
Formal suits, evening dresses, lehengas, ghararas, sherwanis, and similar attire are all welcome! To honor the American tradition of the bride's family, we kindly ask that you do not wear whites, creams or similar shades. As the ceremony will be outdoors, please dress comfortably for the weather.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony, so please leave your cameras and phones aside during that time. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographers to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you. After the ceremony, we’d love for guests to take photos/videos and share them with us!

What kind of food will be served?
Answer
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at mocktail hour followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, and vegetarian dishes.

Will alcohol be served?
Answer
To respect the customs of the Islamic wedding, no alcohol will be served, and we kindly ask that you do not bring your own. We'll have an open mocktail bar with zero-proof cocktails for you to sip on instead! 🍸

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
Yes, we do! Having you with us means so much. For those who’d like to give a gift, we’ve set up a registry with options to contribute to our honeymoon fund or choose something special—just visit the 'Registry' tab. 🤍
