We're Getting Married!

In 2020, Jacob arrived late to his anatomy and physiology lab and was fortunate that his professor allowed him to stay for the second block. There, he sat near a classmate, Kaitlyn Hill, who would later become Caitlin’s maid of honor. Through Kaitlyn, Jacob met her best friend, Caitlin, and a friendship quietly began to form. Jacob admired Caitlin from the start, though life and timing were not yet on their side. Through the ups and downs of college, their paths continued to cross, each encounter weaving them closer together. After their sophomore year ended, Jacob began texting and FaceTiming Caitlin, hoping she’d notice his growing interest. Caitlin, however, didn’t pick up on the hints. Eventually, Jacob stepped back and focused on an internship, while Caitlin assumed nothing more would come of it. The following fall, their friend groups blended, and Jacob and Caitlin found themselves spending more time together. Slowly, Caitlin realized she had developed feelings for Jacob—though she thought she might have missed her chance. On her 21st birthday, she called Jacob to finally admit how she felt. Though the timing wasn’t perfect, the spark between them was undeniable. Life eventually worked its way out, and on March 7, 2023, Jacob and Caitlin officially began their relationship. Since then, they’ve traveled across the country, shared countless laughs, and built memories that will last a lifetime. Caitlin has always dreamed of a big, loving family and being a mother one day—and Jacob knew he wanted to be the husband standing beside her in that dream. On July 2, 2025, while on a sunset walk along the cliffs of Maui, Jacob got down on one knee. With the ocean behind them and a photographer waiting to capture the moment, he asked Caitlin to be his wife. Now, Jacob and Caitlin are thrilled to share the next chapter of their story with you: their wedding on August 22, 2026. They cannot wait to celebrate surrounded by the family and friends who have been part of their journey all along!
