Things To Do
Although we love our home city of Washington DC, the venue that fit our personalities the most is in Woodbridge, Virginia (about 35-40 min south of Washington DC). There is lots of shopping, plenty of restaurants and some bars in Woodbridge to enjoy on Saturday before the ceremony.
Of course if you've never been to DC before, we would highly suggest (if you have the time), coming a day or two early or staying a day later to sight-see in DC! We’ve put a few of our favorite sights but you can’t go wrong at any of the Smithsonian Museums or any of the Memorials on the National Mall.
On Monday 9/26/22, the Atlanta Braves play the Washington Nationals at Nats Park, so we will be attending the baseball game Monday evening for anyone who is still in DC.
