Our how we met story will differ depending on who tells it, but that's exactly how we like it. From Jarvis's perspective, we "met" senior years of high school, when he saw Allen perform at a show choir competition. Unbeknownst to Allen, his solo during his showchoir's rendition of "Bad Moon Rising" created a life-long fan. From Allen's perspective, we "met" freshman year of college, when he followed the new student who didn't live in the LuckyDay dorm, but was always there. Despite these early moments of intrigue, they both would fail to reach out to each other until senior year of college when the great uniter Tinder would bring them together. From this right swipe, we both agree that we were inseparable. Following a brief an awkward introduction at the annual APO bake sale, an impromptu attendance at a Ghostlight Repertory Theatre show, midday tacos at Taco Shop, and a appearance at an infamous theatre house party, our interest in one another would grow into the mutual friendship, commitment, and love that we have today. Throughout almost a decade of partnership, Jarvis and Allen have lived in Oxford, Atlanta, Birmingham, DC, and Chapel Hill separately and together. Throughout it all, we have continued to be fans, friends, and partners. We are excited to be taking this next step together and can't wait to celebrate with all of you.
