Our Story

We first met briefly in 2015, a year after Chloe started attending Southern Illinois University. Almost a year went by without us seeing or talking to each other until mutual friends reintroduced us. The summer of 2016 we started dating and everything fell into place right then. We knew right away we had found the person we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together with. Aaron proposed at the St Louis Zoo on December 17th, 2018. We had been going to the zoo each year around the holidays to see their lights displays. We found a secluded walkway overlooking the water and lights...and forget the rest (all a happy blur from excitement). Chloe - "I remember calling my mom one night that first summer and telling her I was going to marry this guy! It was Aaron's calmness, passion, intelligence, humor, and selflessness that drew me in immediately. He has helped me appreciate the simple things in life. Some of my favorite date nights have just been eating Chinese food at home and playing music together until 3am." Aaron - "I remember early on being so nervous just seeing Chloe's number calling or texting, hoping I'd say the right things and not mess anything up. I knew she was the one. She helped me gain a sense of confidence and direction. Chloe has really helped me develop as a person by challenging me and pushing me to step out of my comfort zone daily. Most of all, she has helped me realize my self worth (something i have struggled with for most my life). I'm truely grateful we have found eachother, and am so excited for our future together!"

COVID-19

UPDATE 3/10/2021 - As the big day approaches sooner and sooner, it is looking like we will not get to celebrate in the way we had hoped. Due to concerns of safety and current Illinois guidelines, we will have to limit the number of guests severely. While we are very disappointed, we look forward to the day when we can celebrate with everyone in the future! We hope you and your families have been healthy and safe during this time, and we appreciate all the love and support we have received from each of you. We understand that the situation is in constant flux and will continue to monitor safety guidelines and restrictions as time gets closer to our wedding day. Our top priority is the safety of all our loved ones. We are continuing to plan optimistically for our June 5th date, but will keep you informed if anything should change. Please also feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns. Chloe Tabor (630)746-6778 Gail Tabor (630)310-9836 Rebecca Jarvis (618)559-4582 Love, Chloe and Aaron
