We’re getting married!

Believe it or not, our story started all the way back in sixth grade. Jarumy was 10 years old, Steven was 11, and apparently middle school hallways were the place to find true love… and candy. One day, Jarumy spotted Steven across the hall selling candy at school like a little businessman. Jarumy walked right up to him and said, “Is that damn Steve?” (His instagram username at the time)— and just like that, our first conversation happened. Romantic, right? From there, we spent the rest of middle school together, dating on and off through seventh and eighth grade. But like most middle school relationships, life eventually pulled us in different directions after eighth grade, and we lost touch for a while. Years later, fate decided we deserved another chance. At 16 years old, we found our way back to each other and quickly realized the connection we had as kids never really disappeared. On February 27, 2022, we officially started dating again — this time for good. Looking back now, it’s funny to think that the person selling candy in a middle school hallway would end up becoming the love of a lifetime. Safe to say Steven made the best sale of his life that day.
