All our families were in Charleston for Meriwether's graduation from graduate college, or so she thought. After she graduated we went to Pitt Street bridge for what she thought was Mallory and Colby's engagement pictures, but it really just made for the perfect opportunity to ask her spend forever with me. While Mer was taking a few pictures I impatiently was pacing behind her. We convinced her to take some family pictures, and then to take a few pictures just the two us. That was when I got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife. Though I don't think she heard a word I said because she was jumping up and down and squealing with excitement. I was glad she felt the same way. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
