We're gettting married!

We met at Panera Bread, where Jarrod was Darian's manager (yes, a bit of a scandal). At first, there was nothing there, but after months of working together, things started to change. After several Buffalo Wild Wings appetizers and dates after work, Jarrod finally popped the question! Well, just the "will you be my girlfriend question." Eventually, we moved in together and grew our little family with our rescue dog Juni! She is the center of our world, so spoiled (actually not spoiled, just well loved) and keeps us on our toes with all her energy! In February 2025, Darian's sisters came to Grand Forks for their sisters' weekend with plans in Winnipeg! Jarrod tagged along as their chauffeur for the weekend. While on a walk through The Leaf, a botanical garden in Winnipeg, we stopped at an overlook, and Jarrod proposed! Darian was so shaky and giddy, he could barely get the ring on! Now, we're still stuck in Grand Forks until Darian finally graduates and gets her big girl pilot job! The winters are long, and we can't wait for what comes next: getting married and starting the next chapter of our journey together in a new city!
