Our ceremony begins promptly at 5:30pm. Guests will be allowed into the ceremony space 30 minutes prior, starting at 5pm. We ask that you arrive with enough time to get up to the 13th floor and find a seat.
Parking is available at all hotel blocks and at the wedding venue—just note that options and pricing vary a bit depending on where you are staying. For hotel guests: *Hotel Indigo: Valet parking is available through an outside vendor starting at $40/day. There is no on-site self-parking, but there are plenty of nearby garages and lots with rates that vary. *Westin Book Cadillac: Valet parking is available 24/7 for $45 per night. *ROOST Detroit (Book Tower): 24/7 valet is available right outside the main entrance on Washington Blvd. Rates are $25 for up to 4 hours or $50 per night for overnight guests. For wedding guests not staying overnight: * Valet will be available at the venue (Book Tower) for approximately $35 per vehicle—easy and stress-free! * Prefer to self-park? There’s a nearby garage (Park Rite Parking, 1431 Washington Blvd) with varying rates. * There is also an open lot next to Book Tower, though it tends to be a bit pricier (we’ve seen around $30 for a couple of hours). We recommend giving yourself a little extra time to park so you can arrive relaxed and ready to celebrate!
Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. We’d love to see our favorite people dressed up for the evening! Women, think sophisticated, floor-length dresses, gowns or jumpsuits. Men, a dark suit and tie is perfect, but feel free to bust out the tux if you so choose!
Our wedding will take place at The Book Tower in downtown Detroit. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors on the 13th floor. Cocktail hour at Kamper's Rooftop Lounge will follow the ceremony, located on the rooftop of The Book Tower. In case of inclement weather, the rooftop includes an indoor space.
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this time. Our photographer will be there to capture the moment professionally, and there will be plenty of time for photos during cocktail hour and the reception.
Due to limited space, only those specifically named on the invite are invited. Thanks for understanding!
