On the website, please include your name and the number of guests in your family that are planning to attend. If you have a plus-one that you would like to bring, but it hasn't been discussed yet, please reach out to us. If there is difficulty with the RSVP, please text/call 605.786.6403.
Please be dressed in modest semi-formal attire. The wedding is a sacrament and held during a Mass. Additionally, please stay in your semi-formal wear for the reception. This will be an evening to enjoy the newlyweds, good company and tasty food.
Everyone! We will provide pamphlets at the ceremony, which will include the prayers that are recited to help follow along.
Catholics in good standing with the church are invited to receive Holy Communion. Other guests may receive a blessing by approaching the altar with arms crossed over the chest. As Catholics, we believe that the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus. "He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day." - John 6:54
Absolutely! We would love to see your families celebrate with us! At the church, there is a narthex with windows if you need to take a step out for a moment with your young ones during the ceremony. Additionally, the reception location does have a playground for your children to play at.
We are having an unplugged wedding. We request that you do not have your phone out during the ceremony, as we do not want distractions. Additionally, please silence your devices and/or turn them off during the wedding. Our photographers will be taking amazing photos that we will be able to share.
We kindly ask that you do not bring alcohol to either the ceremony or the reception. The ceremony is to be sacred, and no food or drink should be brought into the church. Additionally, we will be providing wine at the reception.
