October 2017... High school football, the Worth County Tigers hosted the North Andrew Cardinals for a notorious rivalry. Football is a passion of Jarred's as he was assisting with the coaching for the Cardinals, and Sydney enjoyed watching her oldest son do what he loved out there on the field. (Tigers won this match, also ending their season undefeated) Afterwards, I (Sydney) introduced myself to Jarred, who was leaving the field looking rather irritated and distraught. Which now we look back and laugh about. The rest is history from there!

It had became a tradition... To see the Christmas lights at Krug Park. Jarred had asked permission from Bryant & Brent prior to the proposal. (Still surprised they were able to keep the secret) With some hot cocoa and shiny lights everywhere, Jarred got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Being the skeptical person i naturally am, i instantly asked as you serious- in disbelief. But he grabbed my hand as repeated his question. ...and thats how it happen.
