Friday Harbor
Take a ferry to the San Juans for the day! This part of Washington is absolutely beautiful! There are plenty of shops and dining spots downtown; or rent a bike and have some fun!
Mount Erie Park
Get a birds eye view of the surrounding area. Mt. Erie is accessible by car..but if you are feeling REALLY adventurous, take the 5-mile round trip hike to the top. Don't worry, it's only a 1000 foot elevation gain, so no extreme hiking skills needed! Head to the Anacortes parks website or the WTA website for descriptions and directions.
Deception Pass State Park
A great way to explore beaches, hike in forests and maybe even see some whales! This is a nicely maintained state park, although an entrance fee is required, it has automated pay stations so no wait time to get in. Yay!
Glacier Peak Winery
If you know us, you know that we love our wine! Here's a cute little place to get some wine for you, ice cream for the kiddos (or yourself because you can never go wrong with wine and ice cream together!)
Anacortes Farmers Market
On Saturday from 9AM-2PM. Go before the ceremony and see all the fun vendors and support local artists :)
Island Adventures
Go see some whales! What a great experience up here in the Puget Sound.
