Jocelyn and I met through mutual friends and brothers. We had heard about each other from them and kept asking when we could meet. They said they were afraid to introduce us because they thought we would get along too well and become a dynamic duo. Well we met one day by accident and bam, the amazing dynamic duo was formed! Two days later we went to a 3 hour dinner and never looked back. Jocelyn has been a wonderful friend and confidant who helped me re-find my faith, which in turn lead me to Jaron. I will be eternally grateful to her for everything.

Alyssa Tannehill Proctor

Alyssa is one of my beautiful nieces. We have always had a special bond. When she was in preschool I was privileged to get pick her up and spend the afternoons with her. She was such a joy always wanting to buy a gift for her big sister at the dollar store or play forever with a new friend at the McDonald's playground. However, getting her to stay in her car seat was a different story. She could wiggle out no matter what you did and screamed bloody murder if she was in it. Alyssa has grown into a beautiful, intelligent and strong woman and married a wonderful man. I am so proud of her and privileged to know her.

Jordan is another one of my beautiful nieces. Jordan has one funny quirck. Ever since she was a child she has hated when people are dressed up in animal costumes, like the ape at Casa Bonita. If any of the costume animals came near her she would scream and hide. She still hates it! One time I took a picture of the cow from Chick Fila and sent it to her cell phone. She was so mad. it was hilarious. Jordan has always been a honest and sweet person. She has become a beautiful and talented woman, who will accomplish anything she puts her mind to. Even though she has become a vegan!

Jessica Green

Bridesmaid

Jessica is the youngest of my beautiful nieces. Jessica has always been able to make me laugh, whether it is her jokes or her antics she makes you smile. Jessica is also a fighter, once she when she was very young, she was on a float in a pool racing contest. The float started to fall apart and she hung on for dear life and screamed at the guys to keep swimming. They didn't win but the judges were so impressed by Jessica that they gave her a prize anyway. Now, that she is getting ready to go to college I will miss all our sleepovers and "date" nights. Even when she blames me for eating all the bread at dinner. I did not!! Jessica will always fight and strive for her dreams and what she wants in life, And I know she will accomplish whatever she puts her mind to.

Joey Fernandez

Best Man

I met Joey & his lovely wife at a bible study at Theresa Martin's condo right here in Colorado springs. We quickly hit it off being from New Mexico ( green chile ) having a passion for cars and being Catholic. We became great friends in a very short time over beers, car talk, and game night. That summer was a blast. Going to Pikes Peak Air Strip attack was a lot of fun highlight of the year. The air strip attack is a 2 day event and that weekend it was hot. We all had hats on and Joey happened to be wearing an old well worn red Dukes hat ( Joeys favorite hat ) this skinny lil blond poked him in the back and was slurring her words and asking about his hat. He explained in a very concise way that he had grown up in Albq. and that was their baseball team. She was so drunk and it was so funny

I met Chuy due to a fallout with my roommates at the time. I was looking for a place to rent which wasn't to far from work and was a reasonable price, rent wise. My aunt told me she had heard that someone at St Gabriels was looking for a roommate. We became very good friends through deep late night conversations about life relationships and many other topics. Anyone who knows Chuy for any amount of time can tell you he is quite fond of puns. He is like the brother i never new i needed, and am so blessed to have.

Father of the Bride

I have been so blessed & privileged to have this man as my father, confident & friend. He has always strived to make my life better & teach me wrong from right. My dad is my example of what I looked for in a husband, someone full of love, compassion, funny & most importantly a man of God! I have so many fond memories with him. One of my favorite memories is when we went to Europe for his work & he told them how his wife, son & baby girl were accompanying him. We get to Italy & go up to our room & in the room, there is a queen, a twin-size bed and in the corner a 5-foot crib! I was 8 years old! When he said his baby girl, they thought I was a baby! It sure is luckily I am short! And I slept in that crib the whole time we were there. No matter where I am, I will always be his baby girl.

I met Andrew a couple years ago through the Colorado Springs young adult sports group that i took over 3 years ago. He was in the army at the time and hated it. We had a great time going snow skating, ice skating and all kinds of other shenanigans shortly after he got out of the army. Any time it snowed we got together and had a blast. We had a lot of fun playing volleyball going to Avalanche games and many other adventures. Andrew you are one of my best friends and cant wait till the next adventure with friends like you.

Mother of the Bride

My mother is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I know that God truly loves me to have blessed me with her as my mom & one of my best & most treasured friends. Saint Joan as we like to call her, is a woman after God's own heart. She is a fighter and one of the most loving people you will ever meet. She battled and beat cancer 5 times all the while thinking of others first. One of my favorite memories is when my mom and dad and I going back to the US for a visit from Seoul, Korea. And if you know my mom, she loves to play games and I her and I started a game of war waiting for our plane in Seoul kept playing that game all the way to Japan and played the same game during our 3-hour layover. Finally, I won right before we had to board the plane. It was awesome.

To the sweetest most caring woman i know my mother. You sacrificed a career in the banking industry so Nathaniel and I would have help with our homework and could get a step up education wise. You taught me how to tell terribly corny jokes, and how to be compassionate towards others. You also took great care of me through asthma, allergy shots, and ear infections. I could always count on you for advice ( that i would often times not take ). A shoulder to cry on, a warm heart to soak up the pain i was feeling, and an open ear to hear about the aforementioned bad decisions. You and dad did so much for me and i am sorry for the hard times. Thank you both for the sacrifice, the blood, sweat, and tears. You are the best parents i could ever ask for. You Taught me how to be genuine man of God.

Thank you father for all the sacrifices you made to make sure i always had everything i needed to become a man. I learned many lessons from you and had to learn many more hard ones on my own do to the stubborn Garcia genes i was handed down. thanks to you i learned to not take anything to serious unless it was life, death, or taxes. Being your son wasn't always easy, but it was so worth it to learn and grow with my passion for cars. Working with you was a love hate relationship due to our differences of opinion on many subjects. Sometimes i look back on those times and miss sanding cars, shooting guns, and most of all spending time bonding over a couple beers and some deep conversations about life. Thank you for teaching me what it means to be a man. How to live, laugh, and love completely
