Our Story

September, 2019: Met at Stark State College in our pre-calculus class

Ben asked Larissa if she could help him out in their Pre-calculus class (and she thought he was 30 years old) But several weeks later, he dropped out because he actually just wanted to get Larissa's number

September 28, 2019: Went on our first date

To shorten a long story, Ben's truck broke down in Larissa's driveway when he came to pick her up. He met Larissa's parents and she ended up also meeting his. Texas roadhouse was booked for the night so they ended up having to go to AppleBee's (where Ben got a bloody nose). Lastly, their first and second choices of movies at the movie theater were full so they had to go with their third choices (which was not the best movie). In the end, Larissa remembers it as being the best first date.

October 6th, 2019: Ben asked Larissa to be his girlfriend

December 22, 2019: Went to our first Brown's game together!

Fun fact: Larissa did not like football (or any sports for that matter) before she met Ben. Now, watching football, basketball, and baseball are one of their favorite things to do together (and Larissa loves sports now)

Spring, 2020: Became best friends over COVID

Ben lost his job because of COVID-19 and Larissa's school went all online so they spent everyday together.

July, 2020: Went on our first family vacation together with Ben's family!

August, 2021: Put-in-Bay!

This is one of our favorite places to go to in Ohio!

December 2021: Visiting family in Arizona!

Our first time visiting Larissa's family in Arizona! We went on lots of hikes (Ben wasn't the biggest fan but he was a trooper!)

July 15, 2022: Nimisila Reservoir

This is another one of our favorite places!

August, 2022: Our first cruise together!

Our first cruise in the Caribbean to Nassau, Dominican Republic, and Grand Turk!

December 10, 2022: NYC for Christmas!

Very pretty, but very very hectic!

August 15, 2023: Ben proposed in Aruba!

We were on a vacation with Ben's family on a cruise in the Caribbean. One of our excursions was a ATV ride along the coast of Aruba. At one of the stops during the excursion, Ben proposed to Larissa on top of a sandy cliff by the ocean. Larissa was totally surprised and obviously, she said yes! (Best day ever)
