Tamia and Jarius first met at church back in 2014. They were both super involved in youth events and productions, and that’s how their friendship started. Jarius would often chat with Tamia after church, getting to know her better. They’d laugh and talk about their days, but all of that came to a stop when COVID hit. It wasn’t until late 2021 that Jarius started to realize he was attracted to Tamia. He’d joke with his friends about how pretty she was, but like they say, there’s always some truth in every joke. After their church’s Christmas production that year, Jarius and Tamia started talking more regularly again. A few months later, Jarius ran into Tamia and her family while he was hanging out with some friends. When her family asked where they’d been, Jarius and his friends told them they’d just come from Bible study. Jarius casually invited Tamia and her family to join sometime. Later that week, Tamia reached out to him about going to Bible study. After the session, Jarius hosted a small gathering and invited her to come along. That night, something clicked for him—Tamia was different. She stayed on his mind in a way no one else ever had, and he knew she was the one. From there, Jarius didn’t waste any time. He asked Tamia out to dinner at Sullivan’s Steakhouse to make things official. Like any couple, they’ve had their ups and downs, but they’ve stayed loyal and committed to each other. Over time, they’ve learned what it means to build a godly relationship, and they trust that God will continue to bless their journey together. Jarius and Tamia first met in 2014 when Tamia and her family joined Bible Truth Ministries. Both were active in the church choir and participated in youth events and productions. During the 2021 BTM Christmas production, Tamia’s feelings for Jarius began to grow. Cast as siblings in the play, they spent a lot of time rehearsing lines, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. During this time, Tamia quietly felt a special connection to Jarius but didn’t openly share her feelings with her close friends until early 2022. Their connection deepened at the end of summer in 2022 as they spent more time together, attending Bible study, enjoying game and movie nights with friends, and even working out at the gym. In October 2022, they officially became a couple. Over the years, Jarius and Tamia have focused on building a strong foundation for their marriage. They’ve learned what it means to become the husband and wife God has called them to be. Like any couple, they’ve faced challenges, but with God’s guidance, they’ve overcome them together. They are grateful for His blessings and are excited to see how He will continue to shape and bless their marriage. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate. – Mark 10:9
