We're getting married!!

Our story began in the halls of Longwood High School, where fate (and five shared classes!) brought us together. We were both seniors with overlapping schedules, yet total strangers until Sarah took the first step. For a week straight, she walked up to Jarett and simply said, “Hi, we have five classes together,” before walking away. Naturally, Jarett thought she was a little... quirky. But curious. What made it even more obvious? Sarah discovered that her friend had study hall with Jarett, so she started showing up there too just to catch a glimpse of him. Eventually, he caught on: she liked him. And in their last period class one afternoon, just before the buses rolled out, Sarah confidently asked for his phone to add her contact info ensuring he’d be the one to start the conversation. That small but bold move was the spark that lit something special. From that point on, they began talking and getting to know each other, discovering how easy and natural it felt to be together. On December 12, 2017, Jarett officially asked Sarah to be his girlfriend—and without missing a beat, she exclaimed, “Finally!” Over the years, they’ve grown not only as individuals but as partners. Jarett and Sarah learned how to support each other through life’s ups and downs, how to laugh at the small things, and how to make the best out of any moment. Together, Jarett and Sarah built a love rooted in patience, friendship, and a whole lot of laughter. One of Jarett’s family traditions is an annual weekend hiking trip. On October 12, 2024, during one of these cherished outings, he proposed to Sarah right before sunset at the top of the breathtaking Kaaterskill Falls. Overwhelmed with joy, Sarah said "Yes!” and then cried for about 30 minutes. They truly complement each other. Both caring, hard-working, and grounded in love and loyalty. Balancing one another in all the best ways, lifting each other higher and always choosing each other, day after day. Now, we’re counting down the days until we officially tie the knot in October 2026. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
