We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It was a beautiful Wednesday during our vacation cruise. This day, we docked at the island of St. Kitts, home to black sand beaches. Throughout our time on the cruise and going on various excursions, I had a pair of sunglasses that could record all of our activities. Unbeknownst to my lovely lady, I got it mainly to record the big event. Along with the sunglasses, I got a black geode with shiny silver highlights (basically a rock the size of a fist) that was made to open up with a tiny hinge and had a polished rounded out inside that was perfect for a ring to sit. I had it planned that we would be on a beach, most likely alone, hence the sunglasses. After our Jeep Wrangler excursion across the island, we stopped at Vibes Beach Bar. We enjoyed some sunshine and took in the beautiful scenery. As I was doing so, Zanna had flipped over onto her stomach on the beach chair giving me the chance to plan my attack! As I was placing the ring inside the geode case, I noticed Miss Scarlett from the cruise "CLUE The Gameshow", laying next to us. I walked over and handed her my phone and told her I was "about to ask my girlfriend an important question" and would she mind recording it. She was as excited as if she was being asked the important question herself! She enthusiastically said of course! I then walk over to Zanna & tapped her on the shoulder, (she had fallen asleep!) I began looking down and pointing at the geode half buried in the sand underneath her chair asking her "what is that?!" Barely awake she looks around hardly noticing Miss Scarlett recording her, picks up the geode.....and then our tour guide rushes in and yells "Hey guys ready to head back!?" 😄 I said yes and as he leaves, Zanna opened the case, she looks up with the biggest smile as I asked "Will you be mine?" I don't do clichés. ;) And I think we all know the answer to that important question. *Special thanks to Miss Scarlett, because I found out my battery had died in the sunglasses!🤦‍♂️
