Jared and I have been together since we were 16. I still remember the rainy day in April when he asked me to be his girlfriend. From high school dances, sitting together at lunch, and cheering each other on at sporting events he's been my rock since day one. I kept him around in high school specifically to park the Yukon for me before my basketball games and he would say my driving skills to this day is why I still keep him around.

Jared planned a casual hike up Lava Lake in Bozeman, MT with some close friends. Unbeknownst to me, he was planning on proposing at the top. The proposal was everything I had dreamed of and more. He started out by saying we had a new date to celebrate and then got down on one knee. I was too afraid to wear the ring down the mountain for fear of losing it. We were both so excited to tell our families once we were back in service.
