Our Greatest Adventure Yet

From opposite ends of the world, God placed us both in Pensacola, Florida in 2023. Jared, from Rockwall, Texas, was finishing up his bachlors degree in Martime Studies and Anthropology at the University of West Florida and I had come over from Nepal for college to study Graphic Design at Pensacola Christian College. With a final nudge from one of my friends and Jared’s roommate, God closed the gap of 6.1 miles and brought us together. It started with hanging out and going bowling, but soon we were sharing long conversations while I worked on my art projects. Before we knew it, we went from sitting in coffee shops in Pensacola to rummaging through old bookshops in Scotland. Next was Spain, where we found ourselves locked out of our airbnb with nothing but a stray cat for company. Then on to Venice where we discovered the most amazing pizza to have ever existed - and feisty seagulls who tried to steal it. From Venice to Malta and midnight falafels. And from Malta to being stranded in Istanbul the day before Thanksgiving. Two years of adventures together and forever to go. May 31st 2026 will be the beginning of our greatest adventure yet.
