As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe that marriage is meant to last beyond “til death do us part”. Being married in the temple means that the marriage is sealed, or made permanent, for eternity. Due to the sacred nature of temples, only certain members of the church may enter. While the temple had previously opened, we were recently informed that our sealing appointment was cancelled due to the pandemic. We will have a civil marriage ceremony on the live stream at 5pm. We will then be sealed at a later date.
