What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding is black tie. Gentlemen are requested to wear tuxedos, and ladies are invited to wear floor-length gowns. The Metropolitan Club is one of New York's most storied venues, and we hope our guests will enjoy dressing for the occasion.

Where is the wedding being held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Metropolitan Club, located at 1 East 60th Street (at Fifth Avenue), New York, NY 10022. The Club is a private landmark, and the evening will move between several of its historic rooms.

May I bring a guest?

Answer

Out of respect for the intimacy of the evening, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally named on your invitation.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore the little ones in our lives, we have chosen to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope the evening offers you a rare night out, and we appreciate your understanding.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive thirty minutes before the ceremony to allow time for coats, the receiving area, and to be seated comfortably. A detailed schedule for the evening will be provided closer to the date.

Are mobile phones permitted?

Answer

The Metropolitan Club has a long-standing tradition of preserving the privacy and elegance of its rooms, and mobile phones are not to be used inside the Club's public spaces. We have engaged a wonderful photographer to capture the evening, and we will share images with you afterward. We invite you to set your phone aside and be fully present with us.
