Where Do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP here through our website by clicking the "RSVP Attendance" tab in the menu above. You may also directly text, call, or email Jared or Ruby and we will update your response manually.

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Please RSVP by no later than Friday, December 1, 2023. Any RSVPs unanswered by the due date will be marked as "Not Attending". We kindly ask for your prompt response as our vendors require a final head count in advance for planning.

What Happens If I Need to Change My RSVP?

Please contact Jared or Ruby immediately and we will update your attendance manually.

Can I Bring A +1?

Answer

Due to limited space, only guests named on the invitation are invited to this intimate event at this time. Thank you for understanding. If you feel strongly that you would like to have someone accompany you please feel free to contact Jared or Ruby.

My Invited Partner Can No Longer Attend. May I Bring Someone Else?

Answer

For couples where your invited partner cannot attend, you are welcome to bring someone else to fill their spot. Please contact Jared or Ruby immediately so accommodations can be updated.

Can I Bring My Children? (Under 18)

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding.

Is There A Hotel Room Block?

Answer

At this time we expect few guests to need hotel reservations, and are therefore not reserving a hotel room block. This also allows guests the flexibility to choose wherever they'd like to stay and explore the many treasures of the San Francisco Bay Area while visiting.

What Is the Dress Code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested for the celebration. Examples include: floor-length dresses and gowns, formal jumpsuits or pantsuits, 3-piece suits, or dress shirt + pants + tie. Tuxedos are welcome but not necessary. The wedding colors are Burnt Orange and Teal if you would like to color coordinate.

What Should I Not Wear?

We kindly ask that you refrain from full white or any variation of white/ivory/cream as these colors will be reserved for the bride. The wedding colors are Burnt Orange and Teal if you would like to color coordinate. Please, no casual attire such as jeans, shorts, or sweatpants/sweatsuits...etc.

Do You Have A Registry?

Answer

In lieu of a traditional registry, we are opting for a honeymoon fund. Please see the "Registry" tab in the menu above for more information!

Is There Parking At the Ceremony Venue? (City Hall)

Yes! There will be safe parking available at 355 McAllister Street, San Francisco, CA 94102

Where In City Hall is the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the Mayor's Balcony in San Francisco City Hall.

What Time Should I Arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 5-15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start. The ceremony will take place on the Mayor's Balcony in San Francisco City Hall.

Can I Take Pictures During the Ceremony?

Answer

At the opening of the ceremony, we will be doing a "social media minute" announced by our officiant so everyone can take a moment to snap a pic! After that, we will kindly ask for phones to be put away to allow our talented photographers to do their best work. We also want our guests to be fully present in this special moment with us. During the brunch reception, please feel free to take any and all photos you'd like and tag them #MyRideOrDykes on social media.

Is The Reception Indoor or Outdoor?

The reception will be indoors as we expect the temperature at Fisherman's Wharf to be chilly.

Will There Be A Livestream for Those Who Cannot Attend

Answer

Unfortunately, due to connectivity limitations at both venues, we will not be able to livestream the ceremony or reception.

What Will Brunch Service Be Like?

Answer

Bistro Boudin will be serving a delicious buffet-style brunch meal with multiple options for every taste. Coffee, juice, and tea will also be included.

Will There Be An Open Bar?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be providing alcoholic drinks, but guests are welcome to open a tab at the bar. Please keep in mind, if you choose to partake in alcohol during the celebration, arrange for a designated driver or alternate transportation to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Are There Uber/Lyft Services Available?

Answer

Yes, both city hall and Bistro Boudin are easily accessible to Uber and Lyft services! Please keep in mind the time of day and event locations, as this may cause longer than average wait times.
