We met through some mutual work friends and didn't think much of it. After being in the same friend group for over 3 years, Jared finally made his move! We started going to the gym together and hanging out more one on one. Before we knew it, we were inseparable and we thought "okay this is something special!"

I can read Jared like a book, so he knew he had to be casual about the proposal. I came home from work and he had dinner, wine, music & candles set out for us. He had done this before so I was clueless to the special moment to come. We were eating and he was being unusually quiet (hello nerves!) so I was chattering away to fill the silence. When the music suddenly changed to our favourite song, I looked over and he was down on one knee. I screamed, cried and said "YES," and we were engaged.
