Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the most convenient airport for our wedding. It’s a major hub with frequent flights from across the country and is just a short drive from downtown Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. We recommend flying into SLC for the easiest access to accommodations, activities, and the wedding venue.
Train
The Amtrak Salt Lake City Station is a convenient option for guests traveling from select cities along the California Zephyr route, which runs between Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area. The station is located in downtown Salt Lake City, close to hotels, restaurants, and public transit. If you enjoy scenic train travel and have a bit more time, Amtrak can be a relaxing and memorable way to arrive.
Train
The FrontRunner Commuter Rail is a great option for guests traveling from cities along the Wasatch Front -- from Ogden to Provo. It’s a clean, reliable, and affordable way to get to Salt Lake City without the hassle of driving or parking. The Salt Lake Central and North Temple Stations connect easily to TRAX light rail and downtown hotels, making it a smooth ride for local or regional guests.
Flight
Provo Airport (PVU) is a smaller, regional airport located about 45 minutes south of Salt Lake City. It offers limited direct flights from select cities, mostly through budget airlines. If you find a good deal or are staying closer to Utah County, PVU can be a convenient alternative to SLC.
Flight
Ogden-Hinckley Airport (OGD) is another small regional option, located about 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City. It offers limited service through select low-cost carriers. If you're flying from a city served by OGD and staying on the north side of the valley, it may be a convenient and budget-friendly alternative.
