Only a couple more days!

Nova and Jared found each other like any two self-respecting middle aged believers - on the internet! We were both seeking and praying to find love and marriage. Nova had stopped expecting her search would be fruitful. She had shut down the apps and closed her accounts, or so she thought. But it seemed God was not done answering her prayers. In came one more message - from someone struck by her story and wanting to know more. Jared sent that message which shortly led to a conversation, then video calls. And a first date. Jared hadn't dated in a LONG time! And the conversation proved how rusty he was. The dinner was nice, but the conversation turned into an interview for a pastor's wife - Jared ruined this chance before it even started! But God was not done answering his prayer either. Nova reached out to extend grace; they talked and agreed to a second chance. They quickly developed respect, admiration, and love from this resolved conflict, from providing stability in uncertainty, from proving to be the character each needed and desired, and so many other things. Sometimes it's hard to continue to hope, but the Lord was not done answering prayers! And so our two stories are becoming one. A story of faith, and hope, and love beyond expectation.
