We originally met way back when at Camp Nonesuch, in the suburbs of Boston, but we really connected during the summer of 2011 when Meredith worked at Camp Nonesuch with Jared's brother, Tavis. At a summer staff party, Meredith and Jared officially met and spent time together for "group hangs". Meredith went back to college and neither party thought much of it. Fast forward to November of 2018 and it just so happens that both Meredith and Jared were attending the same performance of "Hamilton" at the Boston Opera House. Meredith spotted Jared from across the room and thought "hmm, I wonder what Jared is up to now?". In April, after tax season, when both parties were "single" according to Facebook, Meredith reached out via text asking Jared out to dinner. They had their first official date at Parish Cafe on Boylston Street in Boston, which led to an ongoing journey of love and happiness.
