Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

Yes, we will be staying at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn located in Hood River, Oregon. At this time, you will need to call the hotel at (541) 386-2200 to inquire about available rooms for the Klug/Mulkey wedding. Alternatively, the area has many beautiful Airbnbs to explore in both Hood River and White Salmon, Washington.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle service will provide transportation from the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn for guests staying at the hotel. We will also have a shuttle from the Hood River DMV for guests staying elsewhere who would like to utilize the shuttle service and potentially park a rental car during the wedding. Exact shuttle times will be provided at a later date. Please note that if you plan to drive a car to the wedding, parking is free but limited at the venue.

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

While our wedding is in Washington, we recommend flying into the Portland, OR airport (PDX). If interested in booking a prescheduled taxi service to take you from the airport into Hood River or White Salmon, please reach out to the bride or groom for details.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We request cocktail attire. Please note that the ceremony will be outdoors where the weather can get chilly at this time of year. We ask that you refrain from wearing jeans.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We wish we could give everyone a plus-one, but venue capacity limits us, so we are only allowing guests whose names are on the invitation.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate children outside of specifically invited family on our wedding day.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome party on the evening before our wedding (Friday, May 29, 2026). This will be held at the Shoreline Room & Deck at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn. Please refer to the "Schedule" section of this website for more details.
